There are numerous direct flights from major airports around the world to both Edinburgh and Glasgow Airports in Scotland. If you are not planning on visiting London or southern England, we would discourage traveling through London Heathrow or Gatwick Airports, as they are both very large and busy. Consider instead traveling through another UK airport (like Manchester), an airport in an EU country (like Amsterdam) or an airport in your home country that has direct flights to Scotland.
